Dear All,
I'm delighted to announce that I am working on a documentary project with the

Our documentary is an urban tale that zooms in on an intersection of San
Francisco;
Oak Street is a busy three-lane arterial that carries traffic from San
Francisco’s Golden Gate Park to the center of the financial district. Scott
Street is narrower, a north-south bike route that flanks the picturesque Alamo
Square (before meeting up with Scott). This story is about their intersection…
and the history one can find there if one just stops and looks...Cars and buses
pour down Oak Street during the morning commute while intrepid cyclists make
their way down Scott Street. But if you slow down, pause, and take a closer look
at Oak @ Scott, there emerges the picture of a community formed by something
larger than the sum of its streets.
Our story is told by the long term residents of this busy corner of San
Francisco. An urban tale about the changes over the years as seen through street
life, community, friendship, bike and car traffic, residents young and old,
economic transformation and neighborhood associations... An attempt to sort
through the city's fading memories by documenting a slice of life in this city
we love at an intersection we thought we knew so well.
Many thanks to all our friends who donated time, equipment, opinions and funds
to our project.
