Bu sene ilkini düzenleyeceğimiz Darağaç Film Festivali’ne 356 film başvurdu.
Seçkide yer alan 21 film 13 mart - 17 mart tarihleri arasında #Sahnedar’da
izleyicisiyle buluşuyor. Bozcaada Uluslararası Ekoloji Filmleri Festivali
(@bifed_doc) seçkisinin de yer alacağı DAFF deneyimine herkesi davet ediyoruz.

2024 yılında ilkini gerçekleştireceğimiz Darağaç Film Festivali (DAFF) 6+1
farklı kategoride toplam 30 filmi mahalleli ile buluşturmaya hazırlanıyor.
Darağaç Film Festivalinde, deneysel, belgesel, kurmaca, animasyon ve BIFED
ekoloji filmleri seçkisi ile farklı türlerdeki bağımsız yapımlar yer alacak.
Darağaç sekizinci yılında özel film gösterimlerinin yanı sıra, konserler,
atölyeler, söyleşiler, paneller ve film ekipleri ile tanışma imkanı sunarak
diyalog ortamı oluşturmayı amaçlıyor.
Umurbey Mahallesinde gerçekleşecek gösterimler ve söyleşilerin ardından,
Bozcaada Uluslararası Ekolojik Filmler Festivali ile birlikte Seferihisar
ilçesinin Orhanlı köyü, Urla ilçesinin Bademler köyü ve Bergama ilçesinde yerel
ile işbirlikleri yaparak gösterimler ve söyleşilerin gerçekleştirilmesi
planlanmaktadır.
Genel hedefleri
- Ana akım gösterim fırsatı bulamayan, ekoloji ve iklim krizi ile ilgili güncel
problemlere dikkat çeken temalı filmlerin üretimini teşvik etmek.
- İzmir’in şehir merkezinde gerçekleşecek festival, her yıl periferide kalan
farklı bölgelerde gerçekleştireceği gösterimler ile kır ve kent arasında
devamlılığı olan kültürel bir bağ kurmaya çaba göstermek.
Özel hedefleri
- İzleyici ile film ekipleri ve sinema sektörü profesyonelleri arasında aynı
mahallede buluşabileceği diyalog ortamı oluşturmak.
- Bağımsız sanatçıların görünürlüğünü arttırmak.
- Dokuz yıldır Umurbey mahallesinde faaliyetlerini sürdüren Darağaç Kolektifi,
film festivali ile mahalledeki dayanışmayı ve birlikteliği canlı tutmayı
hedefliyor.
We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Daragac Film Festival (DAFF) scheduled
for the year 2024. Our festival aims to bring together the local community by
showcasing a total of 30 films across 6+1 diverse categories.
Daragac Film Festival will feature experimental, documentary, fiction, animation,
and BIFED ecology film selections, encompassing a wide array of independent
productions. In its eighth year, DAFF seeks to create a dialogue environment by
not only presenting special film screenings but also offering concerts,
workshops, discussions, panels, and opportunities to meet film crews.
Screenings and discussions will take place in Umurbey Neighborhood, and
following these events, collaborative efforts with the Bozcaada International
Ecological Films Festival will extend to Orhanlı Village in Seferihisar,
Bademler Village in Urla, and Bergama district.
General Objectives:
-To encourage the production of films with themes highlighting current issues
related to ecology and the climate crisis that do not find mainstream screening
opportunities.
-The festival, taking place in the city center of Izmir, aims to establish a
cultural connection with continuity between rural and urban areas by organizing
screenings in different peripheral regions each year.
Specific Objectives:
-To create a dialogue environment where the audience can meet film crews and
cinema industry professionals in the same neighborhood.
-To enhance the visibility of independent artists.
-The Daragac Collective, operating in the Umurbey neighborhood for 9 years, aims
to keep the spirit of solidarity and unity alive in the neighborhood through the
film festival.

Darağaç Film Festivali Şartnamesi
1-Daff, profesyonellerden ve yeni çıkış yapmak isteyen film yönetmenleri ve
yapımcılardan gelen filmlere açıktır.
2-Festivale 20 dakikanın altındaki filmler başvurabilir
3-Tür gözetmeksizin her kategoriye açıktır, belgesel, animasyon, kurmaca,
deneysel, arthouse filmler başvurabilir.
4- Başvurular arasından 4 kategoriden 5 film seçilecek olup toplam 20 film
gösterilecektir.
5-Festival kapsamında yarışma bulunmamaktadır.
6-Daff, başvuran filmler arasından filmin yönetmeni veya yapımcısının gösterime
katılabilmesini bekler, film ekibinin katılımı ile gerçekleşebilecek filmleri
gösterilmesi önceliklendirilir.
7-Davet edilen filmlerin yönetmen veya yapımcılarının ulaşım konaklamaları
festival tarafından karşılanır.
8-Festival kapsamında Uluslararası Bozcaada ekoloji Filmleri Festivali seçkisi
de yer almaktadır.
9-Başvuran filmler Darağaç Kolektifinin festival komitesi ön seçici kurulu
tarafından seçilecek olup, ayrıca Umurbey Mahallesi sakinleri tarafından da
oylanarak seçkiye alınacak filmler olacaktır.
10-Yapım yılı 2022-2024 olan filmler katılabilir.
11-Aynı yönetmen ve yapımcının başvuruda bulunabileceği film sayısına yönelik
bir sınırlandırma yoktur.
12-Yapım dili Türkçe olan filmlerin İngilizce altyazısı olmalıdır.
13-Film festivaline sadece filmin yasal sahibi katılabilir. Eğer filmin birden
fazla yasal sahibi varsa, diğer yasal sahibin imzası veya filmin yarışmaya
katılması için diğer yasal sahiplerin onayını bildiren imzalı bir mektup
eklenmelidir.
14-Başvuru sahibi, katılım için gerekli tüm yetkinin kendisinde olduğunu ve
ilgili kurum ve kuruluşlardan alınan tüm izinlere dair kanıt sunabilecek bir
durumda olmalıdır.
15-Daff, istisna olarak aşırı şiddet veya yasa dışı içerik dışında, içerik veya
konu ne olursa olsun tüm film başvurularını kabul edecek ve değerlendirecektir.

1-DAFF is open to films from both professionals and emerging film directors and
producers.
2-Films under 20 minutes can apply to the festival.
3-It is open to every category regardless of genre; documentary, animation,
fiction, experimental, and arthouse films are eligible to apply.
4-Five films will be selected from each of the four categories from among the
submissions, making a total of 20 films to be screened.
5-There is no competition within the festival.
6-DAFF expects the film director or producer to attend the screening among the
submitted films, prioritizing films that can be presented with the participation
of the film crew.
7-Transportation and accommodation for the invited film directors or producers
will be covered by the festival.
8-The festival includes a selection from the International Bozcaada Ecology
Films Festival.
9-Submitted films will be selected by the festival committee of the Darağaç
Collective’s pre-selection committee and will also be voted on by the residents
of Umurbey Neighborhood for inclusion in the selection.
10-Films produced between 2022 and 2024 are eligible to participate.
11-There is no restriction on the number of films that can be submitted by the
same director or producer.
12-Films in Turkish must have English subtitles.
13-Only the legal owner of the film can participate in the film festival. If the
film has multiple legal owners, a signed letter indicating the approval of the
other legal owners or their signatures should be attached for the film to
participate in the competition.
14-The applicant must possess all necessary rights for participation and should
be able to provide evidence of all permissions obtained from relevant
institutions and authorities.
15-DAFF, as an exception, will accept and evaluate all film submissions,
regardless of content or subject, except for content involving extreme violence
or illegal material.
