Adana’nın sıcak sokakları, bereketli toprakları nice yeteneğe, binlerce hikâyeye ev sahipliği yapar. İşte bu hikâyelerden biri, notaların arasından yükselen, gözleriyle değil kalbiyle gören genç bir
piyanistin hikâyesi: Ekrem Özcan Yılmaz. Onun yolculuğu, müziğin engelleri kaldıran en güçlü köprülerden biri olduğunun ve insanın kendi sınırlarını aşabileceğinin en güzel kanıtı. Ekrem’in notalarla
yazdığı bu eşsiz hikâye, Çukurova Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi’ne uzanırken, Uluslararası Adana Rapsodi Piyano Festivali ve Yarışması ile taçlandı. Belgeselimizde, bu ilham verici yolculuğu
anlatacağız.
The warm streets and fertile lands of Adana have nurtured countless talents and stories. One such story rises among the notes, the journey of a young pianist who sees not with his eyes but with his
heart: Ekrem Özcan Yılmaz. His journey is a testament to music being one of the strongest bridges that overcome barriers and prove that a person can transcend their own limitations. Ekrem’s unique
story, written with notes, extends to Çukurova University’s Faculty of Fine Arts and is crowned with the International Adana Rhapsody Piano Festival and Competition. In our documentary, we will
narrate this inspiring journey.
Our documentary aims to go beyond the external perception of Adana and delve into the city’s cultural and social depths.
The documentary begins with Adana’s ghetto life, the establishment of the state conservatory, and the presence of Western music in the city. While focusing on Adana’s evolving music culture from past
to present, it then transitions into the story of Ekrem, a visually impaired young man with a deep passion for the piano, who participated in the International Adana Rhapsody Piano Festival and
Competition in its third year.
