16 Nisan 2017’de yapılan Anayasa değişikliği referandumunda son anda YSK’nın
mühürsüz oyları geçerli sayması ile referanduma şaibe düştü. Bu durumu protesto
etmek için halk sokaklara indi. Günlerce süren protesto gösterilerinde öne çıkan
semtlerin biri de Beşiktaş’tı. Beşiktaş’ta itirazını ısrarla dile getirenlerin
başında Beşiktaş Hayır Meclisi’nden Çağdaş Öztürk vardı. Bu filmin kamerası, 16
Nisan gecesi başlayıp 1 Mayıs’a kadar süren ”Hayır” protestoları sürecini
yansıtıyor.

During the constitution referendum in Turkey in April 16, 2017 the results were
casted doubt on because YSK (The Supreme Election Committee) decided to consider
the unsealed ballots valid. Many people protested the result. Beşiktaş was one
of the prominent centers of the protests in Istanbul and Çağdaş Öztürk from the
NO campaigners in Beşiktaş was one of the leading figures. The camera of this
film followed him while he was trying to organize the NO Protests on April 16th-
May 1st, 2017.
