Pantor, İskenderun varoşlarında, “gerçek” bir pantolonu olması için küçük bir
çocuğun eyleme dönüşen mücadelesini anlatıyor. “Namus” meselesi yapılan eylem,
aşiret erkeklerinin kurduğu “mahkemeyle” karara bağlandığı “kemerli pantor”
talebi ve gecekondulu çocuklar arasında gizli bir “pantor” devriminin başlaması,
trajik bir dille görüntü ve sese dönüşüyor.
Pantor (trousers) is about a boy from the İskenderun downtown who wants to own a
real pair of “trousers” and whose action turned into struggle. This action was
accepted as a”honour” matter by the oldand wise (!) men who set a law to wear
only “belt-pantor (trousers)” and this caused a secret “pantor (trousers)”
revolution among the children in the downtown. This story turns into image and
sound told with tragic language.
