It tells the story of a master working on electrical components and his young apprentice. One day, after a long and tiring day, the two of them sit at the dinner table. However, there is a profound
difference between the thoughts revolving in the mind of the master and the thoughts of the apprentice. While the master experiences some pessimism and pain in his thoughts due to his past experiences,
the apprentice is more hopeful and optimistic. As the situation progresses, both characters are actually affected by each other's perspectives and reveal their good intentions and naivety. "Supposedly"
deftly captures the deep emotions and complexity of human relationships that lurk at a simple dinner table.
Cinema is not just a means of entertainment; it is also a powerful tool for deeply understanding and expressing the human experience. As a director, my perspective on cinema and screenwriting
encompasses more than merely providing visual pleasure to the audience; it aims to establish emotional connections, provoke thoughts, and explore the common experiences of humanity. The screenplay is
the cornerstone of filmmaking, and for me, the process of writing a screenplay is one of the most crucial stages of creativity and effort. The screenplay should serve as a robust guide that balances
elements such as character development, theme, and narrative structure to engage the audience in the story. However, it should also allow room for flexibility and variation to facilitate exploration.
Lastly, I want to emphasize the importance of collaboration in cinema. A film production is the result of the coming together of many different talents, and the contribution of each team member is of
great importance. Therefore, open communication, creative discussions, and mutual respect are fundamental principles for me on the set. Valuing everyone's ideas and uniting around a common vision are
critically important for achieving the best outcome.
