Gizem Altunay Born in Ankara in 1987, she started her university education at Ankara University Faculty of Communication and graduated as an honor student. In 2020, she completed Storytelling and Tale Teaching Training at Yıldız Technical University. In 2023, she participated in Kırmızı kalem (The Red Pen) Literature Detective Fiction Writing Workshop. She was selected to participate in the 44th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, where she attended workshops on story and screenplay writing. In 2008, she worked as a program production assistant at Kanal B News Channel and TRT News Directorate. Between 2010 and 2015, she worked at MGA Production Company. She was assistant director and actress in the series "Deniz Yıldızı" broadcasted on Fox TV. She wrote the script for the series "Unutma Beni" and was part of the editing team. She portrayed the lead role of "Leyla" in the series "Sil Baştan" broadcasted on Star TV. In 2018, she played the lead role of "Deniz" in the series "Komşular". In 2020, she made guest appearances in series such as "Mucize Doktor", "Arka Sokaklar", and "Aşk Ağlatır". She is one of Turkey's first synchronized figure skaters and has won medals in this field.
