In a dark and silent room, Mert Can, a young man with a physical disability,
comes face to face with his childhood self. In this symbolic encounter within a
room where time stands still, the child Mert Can questions who he will become in
the future, whether his dreams have come true, and what life has brought him.
Filled with curiosity and hope, the child asks his future self about the fate of
his dreams. The young man, Mert Can, tells his younger self that life has not
been easy—that he has journeyed through a path filled with illness, prejudice,
and loneliness. He explains that while his illness and pain have not fully
healed, they are no longer as searing as they once were; he has learned to live
with them and to stand tall despite them. He reveals that, against all odds,
they have found a new way to realize their dreams and that as long as one does
not give up, dreams can be reached through alternative paths. He shares that
while the future will not always be easy, happiness and hope await at the end.
Thus, this encounter transforms into a hope-filled confrontation where the past
and the future meet.
