Yalnız Nesil, dijital çağda aynı çatı altında yaşayan bir ailenin yaşadığı
sessiz duygusal kopukluğu ele alan kısa bir film. Film boyunca aile üyeleri aynı
mekanları paylaşsalar da, mesafe değil, ekranlardan oluşan görünmez bir duvarla
ayrılmış halde kalıyorlar. Sabahın ilk ışığından gecenin sessizliğine kadar,
konuşmalar yerini sessizliğe bırakıyor ve insan dokunuşunun yerini bir ekranın
parıltısı alıyor. Filmin en sade ama güçlü anı, küçük kardeşin uyuyan kardeşinin
telefonunu sessizce alıp aynı alışkanlığı tekrarlamasıyla geliyor; bu,
bağımlılığın bilinçsizce ve tek bir kelime bile etmeden bir nesilden diğerine
nasıl geçtiğinin dokunaklı bir görüntüsü. Okunmamış bir kitap görüntüsüyle sona
eren film, izleyicilerine sessiz ama rahatsız edici bir soru bırakıyor: Bağlantı
vaat eden bir çağda, yalnız kalmayı ne kadar derinden öğrendik?
Lonely Generation is a short film that explores the quiet emotional
disconnection experienced within a family living under the same roof in the
digital age. Throughout the film, family members share the same spaces yet
remain separated by an invisible wall not of distance, but of screens. From the
first light of morning to the stillness of night, conversations give way to
silence and human touch is replaced by the glow of a display. The film's most
understated yet powerful moment arrives when the younger brother silently takes
his sleeping sibling's phone and mirrors the very same habit a poignant image of
how dependency is passed from one generation to the next, unconsciously and
without a word. Closing on the image of an unread book, the film leaves its
audience with a quiet but unsettling question: in an age that promises
connection, how deeply have we learned to be alone?
